What you describe does appear to be a problem in the way I determine the link back. I used a bit of a trick to generate the link back and didn't take into account that there may be multiple marriages. So I'll see if I can fix that.
But an easier way to go back to where you were is to use the blue left arrow on the toolbar. It also has a keyboard shortcut of Alt-leftarrow, so you can very easily go back and forward without having to find the reverse link in the report.
I also use the back arrow but it has the same results, it returns you to the husbands information. You mentioned multible marriages but it does the same thing on single marriages also. Thanks for taking a look.
What is now programmed is that bookmarks are placed only where ID numbers were assigned. Because of that, the husband and wife both have the same bookmark, which is at the line preceeding the first of the two.
For most people, it is not too noticeable, because usually you can see both the husband and wife on the screen at the same time. But in your file, you have a lot of information about every person. So often you only see the first person on the page. When the link was from the second person, it seems like you've gone to the wrong place.
I agree with you that this is the wrong action. I'm going to add additional bookmarks for each spouse and for the family information as well. Then the link will take you to the correct place. I'll make that change for the next version. It will then work for both direct links and for the backward/forward buttons.
