I am having a problem sometimes when I print. It doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally. The page is not centered and cuts off on the right side, with a large left margin. Any suggestions? Linda
There is one printing problem I know of in Behold and it is caused by a problem with the TRichview package that I use to display Behold's Everything Report. That package doesn't print properly when there are large amounts of information in a table cell. It especially has problems with page breaks when there are large cells that cross page boundaries. A table cell in Behold is the "box" that contains a person and their spouse and the information about them.
Sergey, the developer of TRichview, has been working on a fix for this for several months (it's been tougher than he's expected) and I'm hoping he will fix it before Behold's Beta release. He says he's close. He's a bit like me in being somewhat optimistic about how quickly he can get everything done. It is interesting to follow the discussion about this bug on his forum: http://www.trichview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=263.
I am pretty sure that this is the problem you are encountering. For now, what you may be able to do to get around this is to Export your report to HTML (from the File menu in Behold), and then open the HTML up in Internet Explorer, and print the report from Internet Explorer the way you would print any webpage. Hopefully that will work for you or anyone else who is currently having trouble printing.
I am hoping that Sergey will have the fix before I release my beta version.
Thank you. I used the export and it printed out just fine. I have very large amounts of data in my Notes sections and that is probably what caused the problem. The export works fine though.
