This morning in the shower, I solved a design issue with Behold that has been bugging me for months. The Numbering options in Behold are very complicated. I can save them into Behold files or retrieve them from Behold files. But when ordinary GEDCOM files are read, then there was no logical place to store the options.
My shower revelation was to store in the registry 3 sets of default Numbering options (to use if no Behold file is used): One for use with Auto Organize, one for use with Instant Organize, and one for use with Surname Organize. AO, IO, and SO will be three buttons on the toolbar. These options will be updated whenever a GEDCOM-based AO, IO or SO command is is executed.
In addition, RM (Related through marriage) and EE (Everyone else) settings can be toggled with a button on the toolbar, and the default for this setting will be maintained with the 3 sets of Numbering options in the Registry.
