Found out today that 4 days ago the ELDOS group sold their Elpack product to LMD Innovative. I hadn’t heard of them before, but they are in Germany and have their own component suite with about 300 components. LMD wanted Elpack for its strength in Unicode and cross platform enabled code as well as the Eltree component. Adding Elpack’s 100 or so components to LMD’s gives quite a suite indeed. I’ll have to see where this goes in the future as they plan to merge best of the two component suites together.
