In 1977, I developed the concept for the Everything Report using a primitive Word Processor.
18 years later, in 1995, I developed the first prototype of Behold, with a batch program that would read a GEDCOM file and produce an Everything Report.
10 years later, in 2005, the first publicly-available alpha version (misnamed - should have been “beta”) was released.
4 years later, in 2009, alpha testing was completed and the first beta-test version was released.
2 years later, in 2011, beta testing was completed and here we are now.
1 hour from now, when in the Central Time Zone in North America, the date becomes November 24, 2011, as my birthday present to myself and to everyone else on my 55th birthday, Version 1.0 of Behold will be released.
