Over the last 2 weeks, I’ve had some really good e-mail conversations with several people about Behold. In the process, I saw room for a few important improvements as well as a few bugs that should be fixed right away. So I’m working on those now, and I’ll issue an interim release as soon as I’m done. Among my findings are that my Auto Organize selection of the starting person may sometimes not be optimal. I think I’ve traced the problem to cases where someone’s father’s side and mother’s side both link back to the same deep ancestry line, and that happens when two cousins marry. This will be an interesting one to fix, since it deals a bit with graph theory and optimal paths.
