I just changed the GEDCOM button on Sunday, but I’m changing it again today. A comment by Herb on my Forum and my subsequent responses to him show how I realized that most people do not want to view the GEDCOM. I shouldn’t make the GEDCOM viewer an important toolbar item. So I will relegate it to the GEDCOMs tab of the Organize window.
Instead, I’ll use the GEDCOM toolbar item to be something that more people will use: the Find Files tool to find the GEDCOM and Behold files (and in Version 1.2, other genealogy files) on your computer.
