I decided to set up the RM and EE not to get reset whenever an Organize button is pressed. It just seems too confusing to have one button push change two other buttons. It will be easier to explain, but may cause one extra step for the user at times. Shouldn’t be too bad, though.
Also got the RM and EE buttons to save their value between runs, by writing to the Registry.
I’m also getting tired of the complications that the Organize buttons have been causing. By allowing them to be pushed in, I have to undo their operation when pushed again, and reset them whenever the Behold file is changed through loading a new file or pressing the Organize Apply button. Instead, I decided to not allow them to stick down. It just was too hard to figure out what “unpushing” them would mean - and would be difficult to explain.
Looking back, this was a huge amount of work and reorganization done since the end of October. What innocently looked like a simple add of a few buttons on the taskbar ending up leading to unexpected complications. But I think I got that out of the way for now. This work almost completes the Organize Features of Behold. With the Organize buttons set up, I’ll increment my progress to 84.0%.
