The second video is private so not viewable also the GitHub page does not exist and gedcom.io throws an error saying 'unauthorised access!!! They really do seem to want to share this with the wider community.

Building family trees the way you described above only makes sense if you are absolutely certain that the data provided by MyHeritage (or other sources) is proven and correct. If you don't have proof through documents, your data is pretty much worthless. Which is also the reason why I believe that ...

GEDCOM specs are still technically copywritten documents by the LDS Church. Hopefully one day, they'll make all their early GEDCOM specs available to everyone.

Unfortunately it appears that the GEDCOM 4.0 link to Gisbert's copy is no longer working. I get a 404 Not Found when clicking on www.genpluswin.de/gedcom/Gedcom_4.pdf. Anyone happen to download a copy they can make available?
