First toolbar icon - close - Forum post by brett in Feature Suggestions - 12 Jan 2009

I agree there isn't a 'need' to have a Close button or do File Close, but if that is the case why have it on the menu at all. One example for having it in at least one location would that be some users may initially concerned that the File Add Gedcom(s) may merge and not close the currently opened file.

Opening view - text input - Forum post by brett in Questions and Answers - 12 Jan 2009

It is possible to type in the 'Behold is ready for input - Please open a file' Main window when no file is open. Is there a purpose for this, as anything typed cannot be saved.

Scroll bar during find activity - Forum post by brett in Report a Problem - 12 Jan 2009

If the find files screen is used, once the file list requires a scroll bar, the scroll bar is only half visible vertically. The part to the right of centre of the black up/down arrow is 'out of view'. Windows Vista, 1280 x 800 res.

First toolbar icon - close - Forum post by brett in Feature Suggestions - 12 Jan 2009

While not obsolutely essential, I would use the Close icon from toolbar if it were located next to exit.
