Enno, Using source types based on generalized media types as you mention is one way to do it that would work. I agree that going to the micro level is way too much and unnecessary. Doing so can be done by those who create the citation templates as a separate step from the creation of the data transfer ...

Enno, Re #4: An "author" or "auteur" or "автор" all mean the same thing. But like I said for Tony, the standard needs to just use one term that the programmer will best understand.
