Louis Kessler of Behold Genealogy is a member of the Association of Software Professionals. Since 1987, the ASP has been dedicated to the advancement of shareware, also known as try-before-you-buy software, as an alternative to conventional retail software. Today the ASP is a vibrant organization with hundreds of members around the world working together to improve their businesses and making it easier for computer users to find quality software at reasonable prices.

ASP Code of Professional Conduct

As a condition of membership in the Association of Software Professionals, each member is required to adhere to the a Code of Professional Conduct that includes::
  1. OBLIGATIONS TO PUBLIC

    I will conduct myself and my business to the highest ethical standards. I will comply with my existing local, state and national laws, relevant to the operation of my business.

  2. OBLIGATIONS TO THE CUSTOMER

    I will clearly describe the products and/or services that I offer, and refrain from making unsupported claims.
